If you don’t know Anthony Reed, you should. He’s regularly made popular Instagram pages such as “Fine Ass Black Men,” Urban Aesthetics, Black Menz as well as a number of others. Why, you ask? Those abs, tats and in one of his pics he said “don’t ask me why I look so mean,” but that’s exactly the look plenty of girls like, we’re sure. And we almost missed the most important part. Did we mention he’s a rapper? He goes by Ant, he’s a member of the The Hammer Club (THC) living in Charlotte, originally from upstate New York, so he’s got that NY swag as well.

Marlon Mckenzie for many first came to prominence in 2010 during his appearance on X Factor. He’s a singer and model who at the time was 27 and to see him today you’d absolutely think he was that exact same age 8 years later. One shocking tidbit is the fact he has a 16 year old daughter. They literally look like brother and sister, only a few years apart. We had to do a double take because it’s that hard to believe. The UK born Nemesis agency model was also just in a Jacamo UK winter commercial and otherwise keeps his abs on display to make the rest of the world feel bad about themselves. Just kidding about that last part… sort of.

Zachary Jones is a published model in the DC area that’s known for his smile as much as he is his abs. He’s attended Morgan State, making him more than a pretty face and apparently also does sign language interpretation. The looks and smarts seem to run in the family as he’s the brother of Mister Bowie State University 2017-2018. We happened to have caught a clip of him singing and what we want to know is why we don’t hear more of that/ He’s pretty good. That he probably got from his brother Kyle since he appears to be the singer in the family.

Now Zack is someone we’ve followed on social media for some times and always said we’d eventually cover but never had the chance to. It wasn’t until a recent post-workout pic of his where we said someone has officially reached snack territory. We literally started prepping for this piece that very moment. Zach’s always been cute but the working out now seems to really be well, working out. And for those wondering, he’s taken. He seems to have just celebrated a year in his relationship so no #Thotertaining here, boys lol.

Rapper EyeHatePhil has been through quite the transformation over the last few years. Originally from Houston, he’s recently moved to Atlanta to expand his career. He did an interview with photographer Quar Brown where he discussed his journey in how he got to where he is now. He began with his friends who all came together as a family and used hate to motivate them to do better. The thing is that his name was Philly Phil at the time and he clearly must have read our minds because the first thing we thought about is how is he going to stand out with that name when there’s so many others who use it. And just like that, he chose to change his name to EyeHatePhil. While losing touch with some others in his clique, he’s clearly remained motivated.

The first music video of his we covered, They Was Sleep from just a year and a half ago, he was much skinnier. He’s buffed up some now, continued to work on his craft and we’ve even seen the 6’3 rapper on VH1’s Leave it to Stevie and appeared in a video with Instagram stars KWay and Lala. In his interview with Quar Brown, he did say that he was concerned about what people thought about him rapping and modeling, but at least he’s able to do it. Obviously, everyone doesn’t have the looks for it and he does well in front of the camera. He says he’s learning how to make it work, and we believe he’s doing so quite well. We’re definitely proud of his progress.

Samuel Ellis is a Tempe, Arizona rapper that first caught our attention with his eye popping abs. It has literally been probably about an entire decade since the first time we ran across his modeling profile and heard his music before stumbling across him again. There are some people you see and genuinely hope the best for their career and oddly he’s been one as he’s always seemed to have had a lot of potential. Fast forward all of these years later and he has a child, calls himself a conscious rapper so he’s someone who puts thought into his lyrics and has worked with an entire host of photographers from Calvin Smith of Dream Digital Photography,
Kimmian McKeown of Vision Images, George Madrid of Madrid Photography, Roger Griggs and a host of others. His last Facebook post said “I’m the sh*t and I know it” which means we don’t have to tell him he’s got it. That’s been confirmed years ago, which is why he’s being covered as out latest Eye Candy model.

While doing research for talent to cover for our Eye Candy section, we stumbled across a picture of this light skin model with locks and so we decided to investigate. We couldn’t find a name at first but he looked familiar. After a few minutes of digging, all we found was his first name, Steven. Then it occurred to us that just earlier in the day we came across a throwback pic of him with short twists and then we made the connection, realizing it was him, Steven Johnson. We’ve seen these pics probably a million times never realizing it was him. While Steven is obviously insanely attractive without hair, (he has to turn the comments off on certain pics he takes now), the locks were a a nice added touch. We’ve covered Steven in the past just for his action figure like body and it’s always good to see people making it in fashion from Washington, DC because that is not known to be a fashionable city whatsoever, so any Eye Candy out and about is certainly appreciated.

While scouting talent to cover for our latest Eye Candy pick, we came across Austin, Texas fitness trainer Shapiro King. At first glance we have to admit his body lives up to his nickname of King. Then his dark skin friend Marquise Moore appeared in a pic and we decided to go with him and lastly was the younger Odell Beckham lookalike but in better shape, Eric Tejada (don’t argue). Since we weren’t able to agree on who to cover, we’re just going to go with all three.

Eric says he’s 19 and since the three all went to prom at the same time, they’re all likely the same age. They’ve put in an exceptional amount of gym time at a young age with Eric saying he started just 2 years ago. Captioning a photo for a recent shoot he did with CNG Photography, Shapiro King said “it will take years and years, reps and reps, hours and hours to create my ideal sculpture.” Others would argue he’s already there and the same goes for his friends. Regardless, it’s good enough to be one of our Eye Candy picks and we wish them all the best in the fitness and modeling careers.

If you were a Vine user back in the day, you likely know the greatness that is “Chico Ehhh” who’s always been fine. He’s a 21 year old safety playing for Penn State whose real name is Marcus Allen and quickly on his way to the NFL. This morning he did an interview literally all smiles, ear to ear discussing his journey to the NFL. He also managed to share some videos of himself working out while he was at it. It’s been awhile since he showed his body off being the heart throb he is. He’s obviously been preoccupied with sports but it was good to see him showing everyone what made him popular in the first place.

Trevor Bell’s a Columbia University grad who at a young age has had an impressive set of clientele for a fitness trainer, even some in the NFL. Aside from fitness training, he offers meal planning services as well. He recently jokingly put on Instagram he heard smiling gives you abs. At least with that, hopefully he might encourage more smiling… not to mention he does have an infectious smile.

That smile also got him into a Coca-Cola and Regal Cinema commercial. He’s apparently quite the jokester as well as he’s also been caught on camera in Times Square dancing in a Spiderman costume. We’ve got to admit he does make the costume look good. When it comes to the body inside of it, he says he’s just trying to emulate every Greek God out there and he’s definitely doing a good job of that.

As we mentioned earlier that he went to Columbia University, he’s working towards getting his Chief Financial Analyst certification so he’s both brains and body. And when he isn’t in front of the camera or helping others get fit, he’s also Co-Founder of Unscriptd Journey, an online community where people share their unconventional pathways to success and considering his desire to help people with their career paths and financial planning, he’ll soon be able to help more people reach their own levels of success and not just through fitness.

Rico Hundo is a model and rapper we’ve followed for a few years and never had the chance to cover him. We were excited to see Essence Magazine cover him, naming him as one of their “Top 18 Zaddies on Instagram.” We felt a little jealous that we didn’t cover him first, but that’s what happens when you wait, right? He definitely deserves it and it isn’t as though it came without work. In an interview last year with Talk Media Africa, he said he’s never home. He’s usually either working on music, his body, simply put, something to perfect his craft, and it’s showing.

Rico got into modeling by extension of networking related to his music career. He said even college football didn’t prepare him for the awkward positions he had to be in for his first shoot. As for the body of his; if you’re interested in finding out what he does to get it, he says he’s in the gym for anywhere between 1 to 4 hours 6 days a week so he definitely did not wake up like that. And in the end, it’s all worked out because he modeled for Cardi B’s album cover so that intersectionality between music and modeling apparently has officially gotten him into that circle he’s spoken about that makes getting around the industry that much easier. At least we’re hoping so. He has the drive and definitely deserves it.

We first came across LJ Finley and were amazed at how much of a hidden gem he is because he’s quite talented. The title of this piece says he’s our eye candy pick, which is true but he’s a lot more than that. LJ, also known as Xtraschmedium recorded a song about chicken nuggets. The fact he made the song isn’t the main point either, but between production value of his work and rap ability he could do this professionally. He reminds us of a younger Nick Cannon, just less corny. He’s a walking sketch comedy show by himself and isn’t bad to look at on camera either.

He’s a fitness enthusiast as well with “wannabe buff guy” in his bio. Even spoken jokingly, it’s pretty safe to say he’s already there and could take on fitness training as a hobby as well if he wanted. We’re listening to him while writing this and why this man is not on television is beyond us. Hopefully it’ll happen soon enough. This man’s got it. And sidebar, how many people do you know that can make a song doing nothing but counting from 1 to 100 and make it sound good? lol

If you don’t know Deven Hubbard by name, you’ve likely seen him. Just flash a picture of him and his abs to any casual Instagram user and they recognize him. From radio, event hosting, getting out of Rolls Royces or stepping out of pools dripping wet, he seems to be everyone’s favorite person to watch and live vicariously through on social media. We had a chance to catch up with him and for him to give us an update on what he’s been up to lately and to set the record straight on any rumors out there.

For starters, he’s currently playing in the Euroleague. He previously was held up with some legal issues on the way to his professional training camp last season and wasn’t able to leave the country due to some government issues. He’s finally got things squared away and just now verbally signed to Olympiacos in Greece. He’ll be making his professional debut there this August. Pretty soon he’ll be gracing television screens competing, putting all these years of training and working out to good use.

There’s a video of him circulating at the moment that was from a company he was supposed to be completing a submission to for a $25k payout. Beyond that, he’s also clarified that fellow social media star Vinny Watson, who he’s taken pics with have never done anything sexual together. To use Deven’s words, “I’ve never done anything sexual with a man and I never will,” so that should take care of that. The video involving another guy was on saran wrap and was for a company named KG Entertainment.

“I love women, always have, always will and that’s where my interest will remain. Throughout all the adversity, I’m staying true to me.” Deven hasn’t touched on what happened because he says he knows the truth. To put lightly, he was F’ed over and lied to. Also, for those involved, expect legal action.

Deven’s been seen a few places with a girl named Nadia from Houston so kudos to her for getting a baller (literally). An anonymous source of ours has seen the two coming from a Four Seasons as well.

With a burgeoning fan base and him becoming a must have personality whether it is with fans looking to get his body through his fitness program or him being featured in comedy skits with comedian K Way, he says his family keeps him motivated and staying positive throughout the year. He thanks his brother Xavier Johnson, Jerron Love and Daidrien Johnson for their part in his life and big ups to his agent Pedro. And lastly he’s even landed a partnership with sportswear brand Iceberg. So stay tuned, keep following and remember the name Deven Hubbard because you’re going to be seeing a whole lot more of it.

Marlon Mckenzie is best known for his time on X Factor. He auditioned three times to be exact. This 6’2 British born model has worked with American Apparel along with a number of other brands and unlike many of the other Instagram models, he knows what he’s doing. He’s a professional. Even his selfies are done with perfect angles and lighting. The same way Kim Kardashian had a selfie book, he could do one for posing himself. Looking amazing in all of your photos is an art, a gift actually and one that he’s definitely mastered. It’s also worth noting he’s in his late 30s with a teenage child. You’d never know it unless you wee told and from looking at him it seems almost completely impossible to imagine. Someone’s certainly been blessed with great genes.

Rod Harris is a Phoenix Arizona fitness trainer and not just one of these Instagram trainers, he’s a nationally qualified men’s physique competitor with over 6 years of training experience. If any words could be used to describe Rod’s fitness routine, it would be his quote of “Workouts and routines can be duplicated.
Passion, effort, intensity, & drive cannot.” He made an Instagram post holding a basketball saying “Why would they ever doubt the stroke?” Well, whatever he was referring to, it wasn’t basketball we were thinking about when reading that lol. When not working out he has a fun side as well as he appears to enjoy snorkeling and even mountain hiking. I’m not sure about that last one. We might need to check his black card because we don’t hear of too many of us doing that BUT, he makes it look good so that’s all that matters.

Calvin Myers is a personal chef probably known as much for his cooking in New York as he is his body. And the cooking is so great, even as a vegetarian it’s making me want to try meat… and 100% won’t feel bad about it either. When he isn’t working on meal prep, cooking classes and cooking it up in the kitchen for his clients, he’s apparently being a great father as well. One of his sons sent him an adorable photo collage thanking him for being a great dad and inspiration to others.

The Brooklyn chef is also a class act. As someone who has had to cover a number of fitness models and people in similar shape, Calvin’s a working man, responsible and doesn’t debase himself for the sake of clickbait and easy money and we appreciate him for it. And we know he doesn’t because we looked for any debasement and couldn’t find any lol. Lastly, if you’re looking to get like him, because we’re sure a number of guys out there are looking at his body with envy, just yesterday he announced he’s doing fitness training for those interested, so fellas, you officially have no excuse. As he said, he offers the best of both words with cooking and workout instruction.

Keith Carlos appeared on America’s Next Top Model Cycle 21 in 2014 and became the show’s first male winner. While his looks are undoubtedly stunning, we wonder if Tyra Banks nicknaming him ‘Manaconda’ during a nude shoot helped edge him past the competition (pun intended). Since being on the show he’s made it on the cover of Krave Magazine, signed to NEXT Model Management, filmed for the Bold and the Beautiful and did we mention he’s had his nudes leak? And yes we put that in the same sentence as his list of accomplishments because that’s just how 2018 works. We consider it a service to the public, especially when they’re worth looking at like his are.

Now back to the subject at hand. While scrolling Instagram our mouths dropped to see Keith in his underwear, pulling them down enough to see most of his pubes asking us what we followed him for. Well clearly he already had the answer to that question as he was giving us exactly what we wanted. Then to add insult to injury, after we finally had a chance to catch our breath from that, he posted a couple other highly suggestive thirst traps.
